Synopsis by Janiss Garza

While it is tragic that so many silent films have disintegrated into nothingness, actor George Chesboro) would probably not roll over in his grave should this mediocre poorly-received programmer be lost to history. He plays Silent Morse, who has earned the enmity of the evil-tempered Captain Skag (Alfred Hewston). Skag has accused him of a crime he did not commit. He shanghais a man who has lost his memory and orders him to arrest Morse, who has become a fugitive. Because of an explosion, Morse goes blind and is separated from Ruth, the girl he loves (Vivian Rich). Skag sends another accomplice, Pierre (Frank Caffray), after Morse, but he saves him instead because Ruth has nursed his daughter back to health. The man originally sent to capture Morse regains his memory and helps to clear Morse of any wrongdoing. Meanwhile, Ruth's religious faith and prayer aids Morse in getting his sight back and the couple are reunited.
