Harry Golden (Alfred Allen) is a clever crook, but the day comes when he is finally shot and killed during a robbery. Before he dies, he tells his daughter Flossie Viola Dana) to be resourceful and play the game like he played it. So Flossie makes her way in life by becoming involved with rich men and then blackmailing them. But when her latest mark engages lawyer Richard Harding (Wyndham Standing) to get him out of his fix, Flossie swears revenge. She makes Harding fall in love with her, and then to her surprise she falls in love with him herself. They are married, but then her former associates come around and threaten to expose her sordid past unless she pays them off. It turns out, however, that Harding already knew all of her past before they married and he gets the cops after the blackmailers.
