Synopsis by Janiss Garza

A wealthy young man (Henry B. Walthall) proves himself so self-centered and selfish that his sweetheart breaks up with him. While on a trip, he is robbed and beaten by a gang of crooks. Left with only the torn clothes on his back, he is unrecognizable to his colleagues. A poor man takes him in and feeds him, and together they plan to break into the wealthy man's own home. Once inside, he shaves, changes, and starts to look like himself again. The police come and arrest the poor man, but everything is set straight. The poor man is hired as a gardener, and the rich man's sweetheart sees that his experience has changed him, so she returns.
