synopsis
Bill (Leslie Fuller) is a humble British paperhanger who inherits a modest legacy. He uses the money to purchase a race horse. Before the day is done, Bill has lost both horse and a big race. There's a "stay in your own backyard" moral hereabouts that probably played better in 1931 than it does today. Star Leslie Fuller co-scripted Bill's Legacy with Syd Courtenay, who appears in a supporting role as "The Count".
