Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
This uneven docudrama concerns the water contamination of Cameroon. After he breaks a jug filled with contaminated water, a young schoolboy explains to his parents what his teacher (Marie-Philomene Nga) has taught him about water purification. Tadie Tuene plays the sanitation worker who explains to the class what he did on his first day of work. Interviews with locals drive home the fact that much of the water in Cameroon is undrinkable. The feature is a ponderous but accurate look at life in the African nation of Cameroon.
