The Big Zoo on AllMovie

This Big Adventure visits the Baltimore Zoo for an up-close and personal look at the zoo's many animal residents and the people who take care of them. See animal favorites like lions, tigers, and giraffes plus a few of the rarer species like hedgehogs, prairie dogs and sitatungas, an aquatic antelope. This video answers many kid questions such as why flamingos are pink and why zebras have stripes. Kids can even take the Big Zoo Quiz at the end of the video to see how many animals they can identify from the visual clues. Once again, director and series creator William van der Kloot packs so much information into this 45 minute video that children will learn something new with every viewing.
