Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

One of four Bill Patton oaters released by George Batcheller's small-time Chesterfield organization, this obscure silent Western benefitted by the surprising presence of Stuart Holmes as the villain, a bogus Englishman attempting to defraud Janet Dawn's rancher father. One of the leading villains of the silent era, the mustachioed, rather dignified Holmes had played Black Michael in The Prisoner of Zenda (1922) and Alec D'Uberville in Tess of the D'Ubervilles (1924) before landing in this low-budget affair. Holmes recovered, happily, and enjoyed a long career that lasted into the '60s.
