Synopsis by Janiss Garza

This low-budget drama about romance and rum-running was merely a standard program feature. Jules Grandin, a woodsman (Henry van Bousen), finds prohibition agent William MacRae (Willard Cooley) seriously wounded. To help care for McRae, Grandin calls on Rose LeBarbe (Marjorie Payne), the sister of his flighty flapper sweetheart, Ann (Ann Deering). The self-sacrificing Rose is not aware that her father, Jean (William Coughey), has been stealing from the secret stash of a group of rum-runners that McRae has been trying to track down. When the crooks find a lot of their booze missing, they figure out that LeBarbe is the culprit, and they swear to kill him, the way they have murdered several other men. MacRae recovers and helps save LeBarbe, along with rounding up all the bad guys. The frivolous Ann, who has betrayed Grandin, repents and makes up with him, while McRae and Rose fall in love.
