Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
Flora Campbell (Mary Glynne) is the daughter of the humble shepherd Lachian (Donald Crisp) in this romantic melodrama. When Lord Malcolm (Alec Fraser) falls in love with Flora, the two young lovers face resistance from their families due to their different social standing and economic conditions. Lachian and Flora becomes estranged over her love for Lord Malcolm, but they reconcile when the wealthy nobleman proves his intentions are honorable. The film contains beautiful pastoral scenes and lavish costumes from late 19th-century Scotland.
