synopsis
Violet Hopson plays Kitty in this drab British comedy. Hopson, however, takes a back seat to hero James Knight, a blue-collar gent with a slight vacancy in the cranium. Hoping to get rich quick, Knight purchases a woebegone race horse, which he names after his girlfriend (Kitty, of course). Miracle of miracles, Beautiful Kitty turns out to be a winner at the track. But Knight is a born loser, and soon he's left with nothing but the clothes on his back.
