The romantic entanglements of four young professionals lead to heartache and misunderstanding until all of their deepest secrets are revealed during an illuminating chance encounter. Yukako's life has been unraveling ever since she became convinced that her boyfriend Shigehisa is having an affair. One day, as Yukako is coming home from work, she collapses and concerned co-worker Noboru comes to her aid.
