Synopsis by Ed Atkinson

Now the head men's basketball coach at the University of Southern California, Henry Bibby has been a long-respected member of the basketball world. Well-known for his participation on the UCLA team that won three consecutive national championships and then as a player for the New York Knicks, Bibby has also made a name for himself as a coach. At the time this video was produced, Bibby was coaching the Tulsa Fast Breakers to the top of the Continental Basketball Association. Though Bibby has such an esteemed history (the only player to win NCAA, CBA, and NBA championships), this video was made with the young, beginning player in mind. By avoiding the more lofty theories of the court and sticking to the fundamentals of basketball, Bibby reaches to the root of the game, the youth. For any youth league coach who has been stumped on how to teach dribbling, passing, shooting, and basic defensive play, Henry Bibby has the answers.
