Vera Iwerebor's documentary Baby Peggy, the Elephant in the Room presents the life story of Peggy Jean Montgomery who became one of the most famous child movie stars of all time, starring in a number of shorts and features. Before she was a teenager, her career was over, and her money had been stolen. As an adult she changed her name to Diana Serra Cary and devoted her life to the causes of protecting young performers, and restoring old cinema.
