Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka
The harsh realities of urban life are brought home in this drama from director Mohamed Khan. Chaker (Yehia El Fakharani) comes back to Cairo from making a bundle in a Middle Eastern country, only to discover that his family is disintegrating. His younger sister is about to get married, but no one among the siblings seems to care. His older sister eventually succeeds in business with Chaker's help and then moves out of the apartment. His brothers soon begin to have their own trouble: one is arrested for using drugs, and the other is eventually thrown in jail for something he did not do. Facing these difficulties as best he can, Chaker has to decide whether he should stay or leave.
