Sho Zama injures himself in a motocross accident and finds himself in another dimension called Byston Well. In this world where concepts from science fiction and fantasy meet, enchanting castles tower overhead, dragons tear through the sky and giant insect like robots called Auras protect the people. Upon Sho's arrival, it becomes apparent that he has an uncanny ability to pilot the Auras and so he is drafted into service. Sho and his Aura, Dunbine, fight for 49 episodes to protect the people of Byston Well.
