Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Workhorse screenwriter Kenelm Foss, who must have slept and taken meals at the studio, was the brains behind the 1917 British drama Auld Robin Gray. The title character, played by R. A. Roberts, is a pugnacious Scottish sailor. While he's at sea, Auld Robin's fiancee Jenny (played by one "Miss June") becomes engaged to another. Our Hero is forced to virtually move heaven and earth to stop the wedding. Kenelm Foss sees to it that Auld Robin Gray's odyssey isn't an easy one, else this 5-reeler would have been over and done with in Reel One.
