Synopsis by Hal Erickson

David K. Higgins' stage piece At Piney Ridge was one of the last feature films turned out by the flagging Selig company. The heroine is betrayed early in the proceedings, and the hero is held responsible. Actually, he is innocent, but try telling that to the girl's father. Framed for the heroine's seduction, the hero is spared from an untimely end only when the girl herself steps forward (and where has she been for the past five reels?) Though the film had all the "right" dramatic ingredients, At Piney Ridge still lacked that certain something which separates the programmers from the "A"-pictures.
