Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Explore a world rarely seen by outsiders as documentary filmmaker Mohi Sándor turns his camera on the citizens of the rural Gypsy community of Kászonújfalva. An enigmatic culture whose system of communication and familial relationships have baffled outsiders for centuries, this film attempts to demystify the culture by focusing on a series of interviews with a young Gypsy named Olga. Despite her lack of vocalization regarding the various customs and beliefs of her community, Olga's elliptically expressive responses offer one of the only firsthand accounts of their lifestyle ever captured on film.
