Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

A one-time Brooklyn art prodigy struggling in the shadow of his own success falls in with a group of outsider artists who inspire him in ways he never thought possible. Declan Truss was just six-years-old when the world took notice of his extraordinary painting talents. Now, at 17, Declan (Joseph Cross) feels devoid of inspiration as his highly-anticipated coming-of-age exhibit looms ever closer on the horizon. Then one night, on an urban rooftop, Declan happens across Cassandra Moon (Jessica Szohr), a talented outsider artist with a flair for pyrotechnics. Their connection is immediate and intense, prompting Decaln to cast aside the safety of his canvas, and experiment in his art as never before. Later, while growing increasingly convinced that his mother (Joey Lauren Adams) and the mainstream art community are suffocating his creativity, he hatches a plan for his exhibition that will shake the Brooklyn art community to its very core.
