Yet another of one-legged "Gower Gulch" entrepreneur Robert J. Horner's amateurish little Westerns, Arizona Speed starred Johno Wells, who was actually former Universal cowboy Ted Wells under a new name. "Johno Wells" didn't click with audiences and Wells changed his moniker to Pawnee Bill, Jr. for the remainder of his contract with Horner.
