Synopsis by Nathan Southern
As an adaptation of Christian author David Gregory's sophomore novel, this direct-to-video drama resumes the story of the Cominsky clan, ten years after the events of The Perfect Stranger. This time around, Nikki's daughter Sarah is 19 and preparing to move west for college. Already caught up in a period of spiritual uncertainty, Sarah learns that her mom believes she had dinner with Jesus ten years earlier - an assertion that the young woman finds insane. Sarah subsequently becomes friends with an atheist, which further propels her away from her spiritual faith and background - raising serious questions about whether or not she will ever return to the flock.
