Following in the footsteps of series like 8 Man and The Six Million Dollar Man, Android Kikaider is about a man who is mortally wounded but survives by being made partially robotic. Now mostly mechanical but still imbued with a soul and a conscience, Jiro protects Dr. Komyoji and his family against the evil Dr. Gill who is threatening to take over the world with his legions of androids.
