A woman travels to Ireland to rescue her sister from the clutches of a powerful vampire, and encounters creatures that have remained hidden away for centuries in this surreal tale of terror. Upon learning that her sister has been abducted from her posh Venice loft and swept away to the Emerald Isle by a charismatic vampire named Vanquo, Mara embarks on a mission to rescue her at any cost. Shortly after Mara arrives in Ireland, however, her family falls prey to a mysterious plague of death. Now the only thing that can save her sister is a serum with the power to grant eternal life. In order to obtain that serum Mara will have to face creatures that were only thought to exist in fairy tales, and should it fall into the wrong hands, all of humanity will suffer.
