Synopsis by Rob Ferrier
Each installment of An Evening With presents a performer, band, group, or other public figure in a setting aimed to please fans looking for a representative sampling of what a particular person or group of people does best. In this installment, Charley Pride, the 1971 CMA Performer of the Year, swings through many of his most popular songs. As an African-American performing in a traditionally white music genre, Pride brings a unique perspective to his work as well as his smooth baritone voice.
