Synopsis by Sandra Brennan
The blind ambition of an unpleasant "B"-movie director forms the basis of this gloomy drama. The filmmaker, Randy Calhern is so untalented and such an obnoxious human being that it is small wonder that he can never seem to realize his dream of having his script read by an influential agent or executive. Soon Randy begins a descent into an abyss of alcoholism and self-destructive behavior. Both his kindly brother, Mark, and his gay neighbor try to help him, but it's an uphill battle all the way.
