Synopsis by Hal Erickson

As a rule, British silent films based on popular novels were seldom as good as their source material. All Sorts and Conditions of Men, adapted from a book by Sir Walter Besant, was no exception to this rule. Renee Kelly, a favorite of the British legitimate and music hall stage, was the sole reason for sitting through the film's 5 reels. The story concerns the romance between a brewery heiress (Kelly), and the nephew (Harry Britton) of a British lord (James Lindsay). Demonstrating that they're "just folks", hero and heroine build a recreational park for those less fortunate than themselves.
