This 2003 documentary comes from producers Jerry Brock and Royce Osborn and explores the history of African-American culture in New Orleans, LA, specifically in relation to the annual Mardis Gras celebration. Incorporating photos, archival film footage and interviews with historians and Mardi Gras participants, All on a Mardi Gras Day presents viewers with a look at the influence of the African, Creole, and Carribean cultures on the sites and sounds of Black Carnival throughout history.
