Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Jeanne (Edith Roberts) works at a book bindery, and when she comes across a diary that Thomas Dodd (Johnnie Cook) has dropped off, it piques her interest. She decides to help him with his troubles by showing up at his doorstep and posing as his long lost daughter. What she doesn't know is that the book was totally a figment of Dodd's imagination, written just to give him courage to propose to a lady of his acquaintance. But Jeanne finds romance, too, with Dodd's nephew Kent (Walter Richardson) -- that is, after she discovers the truth about Dodd's diary and helps thwart a wicked brother who is trying to snatch a portion of the family's estate.
