Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
This Libyan film deals with an important social issue: roads. The story begins when a villager in a remote mountain region falls ill, is unable to be transported quickly to the hospital and nearly dies. His fellow villagers, seeing this, loyally rally to lobby the government to put a road through to where they live, and put their own backs into building it. By the time the fully-recovered villager leaves the hospital, he can return on a road.
