Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Morning show weatherman Al Roker foregoes his repertoire of jokes and wisecracks as host of this dead-serious Court TV documentary special. The case at hand is the September 2000 assault upon two Mexican day laborers by a gang of skinheads at Farmingville, Long Island. In addition to detailing the crime from the viewpoint of both the attackers and the attacked, the 60-minute special shows the special training undergone by law officers in dealing with "bias" and "hate" crimes.
