Synopsis by Robert Firsching

This mean-spirited war picture from director Sumat Saichur revels in atrocities and America-bashing as only an Indonesian action movie can. After the fall of Saigon, a Vietnamese officer named Cobra (Sorpang Chatri) receives orders from the CIA to rescue General Chu (Peter Ramwa), who has fallen into the hands of the Viet Cong along with some secret microfilm. Cobra has to extricate Chu and find the microfilm before it gets to Thailand, leading to all sorts of bloody showdowns, rapes and murders by crazy soldiers, and the obligatory Yankee betrayal. It's interesting to see an Asian war film with the grim nihilism of contemporary Italian post-nuclear sci-fi, but it's hardly uplifting family entertainment.
