The sixth chapter of the Universal serial Adventures of Smilin' Jack once again benefits from the studio's standing sets and quite a bit of stock footage. Of special interest, however, is the presence of Grace Cunard, a veteran character actress here portraying a Nazi agent. A major action-adventure star of the 1910s, Cunard starred in several early Universal serials, including Lucille Love, Girl of Mystery (1914) and The Broken Coin (1915), both opposite her frequent co-star Francis Ford.
