This video features clips from the first decade of the news show's run since it was first broadcast in March of 1980. Never-before-seen footage, poignant moments, and controversial interviews are shown and moderated by Nightline anchor Ted Koppel. The news series began on ABC as demand grew for more in-depth news during the 15-month Iranian Hostage crisis from the end of 1979 to 1981.
