synopsis
Charles Dickens's beloved 1859 novel A Tale of Two Cities received an update as a popular stage musical in the 2000s. That production appears in full in this release, which features the original Broadway cast, plus narration by the eminent Sir Michael York. Musical selections include: "Until Tomorrow," "Out of Sight, Out of Mind," "I Can't Recall," "The Promise" and many more. This film of the stage play originally ran on U.S. public television.
