A Killing Affair on AllMovie

Behind the Badge was the rerelease title of the made-for-TV A Killing Affair. In and of itself, the film is nothing special: two detectives, one a white woman and the other a black man, tackle a series of brutal murders. Even the "gimmick" of an interracial romance between the cops has lost much of its controversy value over the years. The lady cop is Elizabeth Montgomery, and the man is O.J. Simpson. Under its original title, Behind the Badge debuted September 21, 1977.
