Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Although Vim advertised this one-reeler as a Plump and Runt comedy, Runt (Billy Ruge) is barely in the film at all. The film belongs to Plump (Oliver Hardy) all the way. Like many comedians, Hardy excelled at drag turns and he has one here. Plump's romance with his girl (Ray Godfrey) is derailed by her father (Joe Cohen), who disapproves of the match. Dad sends his daughter to a girls' boarding school in the hopes that it will keep the two apart. But Plump follows his sweetheart to the school and tries to help her escape. When he is discovered, he is forced to pretend he's a student. He and the girl plan to elope but a janitor discovers their scheme and the principal (Anna Mingus) and the girl's father are informed. A burglar shows up, however, and in the ensuing mayhem, Plump and the girl are able to escape anyhow. They leap in her father's car and take off -- unaware that the burglar has come along for the ride.
