Synopsis by Brian Whitener

A stylish and well-handled thriller, A Corpse Has Been Killed sports one of the best titles in cinema. A late effort from Spanish directorial ace, Julio Salvador, the film opens simply and innocently with the death of a young woman. Apprised of her death, her twin sister rushes to her house and there meets the handsome investigating officer. The two hatch a plan to catch the murders by having the twin pose as her sister. This leads them down a twisted path of crime and corruption, with the twin discovering the sister she never knew. The film ends with the couple breaking up a counterfeit ring implicated in the sister's death and living happily ever after.
