This classic Japanese action television show tells the now-classic story of a police officer wounded in the line of duty whose life is saved by replacing ailing parts of his human body with robotic parts. Tabor is now 8-Man, a partially android crime fighter on a mission to rid the streets of depravity. 8-Man went on to inspire an animated series and the 8 Man feature film in 1992. The idea behind the series has also inspired many American films and series such as Robocop and The Six Million Dollar Man.
