A look at the Garbage Pail Kids trading-card series, first released by Topps in 1985. Featuring interviews with creators of the series as well as fans’ stories and recollections, this documentary celebrates what the cards meant to an entire generation of kids and explores their significance as a form of 1980s counterculture. Directed by former Topps art director Jeff Zapata and artist/illustrator Joe Simko.
