Synopsis by Josh Ralske

Tony (Carlos Bernard) and Michelle (Reiko Aylesworth) are keeping Chapelle (Paul Schulze) doped up and out of sight. Hammond (Randle Mell) calls from Division, demanding to know where he is. Hammond, tipped off by Carrie (Lourdes Benedicto), is bringing in a team, so Tony sets Michelle up off-site so she'll be able to continue assisting Jack (Kiefer Sutherland). Alex (Rick D. Wasserman) is on the run, and Jack chases him onto a rooftop, where Alex draws a gun. Jack is forced to shoot him in the leg, and Alex appears ready to surrender when he stumbles off the roof, seriously injuring his head. Just as the chopper is arriving from CTU to evacuate them, Chapelle is found, and orders Carrie to bring the chopper back. Alex dies as the chopper flies off. Jack's last hope is to use Sherry (Penny Johnson Jerald) to set Kingsley (Tobin Bell) up. Michelle links to Alex's computer and shows Jack how to use his software to simulate Alex's voice, so they can trick Kingsley. Michelle and Tony are arrested. Sherry calls Kingsley and offers to turn over Alex in exchange for all the evidence Kingsley has that could be used against her. They arrange a meeting at the L.A. Coliseum, but Kingsley is suspicious and arranges to have snipers in place in case anything goes wrong. As he takes Sherry to the meeting, Jack's heart, weakened by the torture he endured, gives out, and he drives off the road.
