The home video release JDM Option 25: 2006 D1GP Round 1 caters to enthusiasts of formalized drift racing with extensive footage of the 'D1GP' event. This one-of-a-kind 'Grand Prix' of Drift Racing places motorists on a track originally designed for NASCAR vehicles. The rough terrain decimates the drift tires in under two laps, which dramatically increases the risk for the drivers, and sends the vehicles sliding and skidding over the smoky, scorched tarmac.
