Synopsis
The controversy surrounding transgender downhill mountain-bike champion Michelle Dumaresq is examined. A male at birth, at age 20 she began the gender transition process. Now legally and professionally recognized as a woman, she still struggles for acceptance. This documentary was filmed over a two-year span and includes footage from races and interviews with Dumaresq's family and peers.
