synopsis
In this detective thriller, Alphand (Catherine Deneuve) is a private detective called upon to rescue the kidnapped daughter of Arnaud (Sami Frey), an sinister inventor. Arnaud has developed a hypnotizing ray which enables its user to make powerful suggestions to people about their behavior without their consent. His daughter has been kidnapped by a religious cult.
