The Transformers first theatrical feature comes to DVD with a standard full-frame transfer. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1. There are neither closed captions nor subtitles accessible on this release. Supplemental materials include storyboards, and an interview with the film's composer, Vince Dicola. This disc will serve as an artifact for those who loved the animated series of the '80s, but the average DVD consumer will not find much here of interest.
