Woody Allen's crime comedy Small Time Crooks comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. The closed-captioned English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Mono. English subtitles are accessible. As is the case with every previous Woody Allen DVD release, Small Time Crooks has no supplemental materials of any consequence. This is a by-the-numbers release from Dreamworks. Fans will like having the film, but there is nothing here to win over anyone not enamored with the film or Allen.
