Stanley Donen and Gene Kelly's New York musical On the Town comes to DVD with a standard full-frame 1.33:1 image (as any film produced before 1955 should). English and French soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital Mono. Subtitles are accessible in both of these languages as well. Supplemental materials are limited to a theatrical trailer. Fans of movie-musicals will most certainly want to give this competent, if uninspired, disc a look.
