Federico Fellini's La Dolce Vita stands as one of the most revered films in the history of cinema. This fantastic two-disc set offers a great package for any film enthusiast. The movie is presented in an anamorphic widescreen transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio. Italian and English soundtracks are accessible, as are English or Spanish subtitles. Supplemental materials include a commentary track recorded by film critic Richard Schickel, an introduction to the film by director Alexander Payne, a collection of Fellini-directed short films, new and old interviews with the cast and crew, biographies of the cast and crew, and a before and after look at the restoration process performed on the film. This is an outstanding release that is highly recommended.
