Tim Robbins' third directorial effort, Cradle Will Rock, comes to DVD in a beautiful 2.35:1 widescreen anamorphic transfer. The soundtrack is presented in Dolby Digital 5.0. There are no subtitles, but the audio soundtrack is closed-captioned. Although the disc includes a production featurette and a theatrical trailer, viewers might wish for more documentary material concerning the volatile period of American history captured in the film by Robbins; an audio commentary would also have been a fascinating addition.
