Roman Coppola's feature debut CQ comes to DVD with a pair of transfers. The widescreen anamorphic transfer preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1, and is preferable in every way to the standard full-frame transfer. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1. Subtitles are accessible in English, French, and Spanish. Supplemental materials include a commentary track recorded by Coppola and cinematographer Robert Yeoman, the original theatrical trailer, making-of featurettes, and a still photo gallery. While the film failed to click with audiences in the theater, this is a great disc from MGM.
