John Sayles directs a superb cast in this drama about six American women attempting to adopt children in Latin America, which arrives on DVD in a respectful fashion. Casa de los Babys has been given a letterboxed transfer to disc in the widescreen aspect ratio of 1.85:1, which has been enhanced for anamorphic playback on 16 x 9 monitors. The audio has been mastered in Dolby Digital Surround; the dialogue is primarily in English with some Spanish, and optional subtitles in English and Spanish are included. This edition also features a commentary track from director and screenwriter Sayles, two short documentaries on the making of the film, and the original theatrical trailer.
